Don’t let your charging cord dangle

If you charge your phone on a table or other raised, flat surface, make sure you don’t set your phone right near the edge of the surface with the charging cord dangling towards the floor. Doing so can put extra pressure on your charging cable’s connector which, over time, can prevent it from securing a tight connection to your phone. Without a tight connection, your charging cable may not be charging your phone when you think it is. A better idea is to use a USB hub with a power adapter with a short USB cable that matches your device.
