Flight times in your calendar [TIP OF THE DAY]

If you like to add your flight departure and arrival times in your Google Calendar, you often have to deal with different time zones. For example, you might leave Indianapolis at 6:58 pm and arrive in Chicago at 6:56 pm. This makes for an interesting calendar entry. Luckily, Google Calendar lets you set the time zone for both the start and end of your appointment. Just click the “Time zone” link to the right of the start and end date/time fields to set your time zone(s). If done correctly, your calendar times will look correct no matter what time zone you are in.
