How to sync your iPhone photos with your computer

A friend of mine recently asked me how she could get her pictures off her iPhone and on to her computer. I quickly replied that the easiest method was to just email the pictures to herself.

But then she told me she had a couple hundred pictures. Hmmmm… suddenly emailing the photos wasn’t such a great solution any more.

So I did some digging and found that you can transfer all of the pictures from your iPhone to your computer without using iTunes by connecting your iPhone to your computer with the supplied USB cable and following the instructions found on the link below.

Now for some of you this solution may seem fairly straight-forward. For others, I may as well have just handed you a 100 page iPhone manual written in Greek.

No USB connection required. You can find out more about the PhotoSync app using the link below.

Why on earth this isn’t a built-in feature of the iPhone still baffles me. But until Apple decides to set iPhone users free once and for all by getting rid of the iPhone’s dependence on a USB cable and iTunes, the PhotoSync app is a pretty good alternative.
