Nobody handles spam email better than James Veitch

Comedian James Veitch is my new hero. He has taken receiving spam email to a whole new level. Rather than deleting it, he responds to it.

But his responses are not what you think. He does not complain about it or say he is going to report the spam. Instead, he goes along with it, trolling the spammer as long as he can.

When the spammer finally gives up, James sums up the entire email exchange in the form of a video, which is just as entertaining (if not more) as the conversation itself.

James has a whole series of these videos but I’ve hand-picked a few of my favorites below. I hope you enjoy them as much as I did.

Mary Gary

In this video, James responds to a spammer going by the name of Mary Gary, who informs him that during a routine patrol she discovered a buried safe containing $15 million dollars.

Toaster

In this video, James is notified by a spammer that he needs to move 1,000 carats of polished diamonds in a transaction that is 100% risk free. During the conversation, James focuses on a made-up free toaster from the bank which finally breaks the spammer.

China Jewelry Corp

In this video, James plays along with a fake job offering from China Jewelry Corp and does the spammer in when he starts talking about dental insurance and hiring his own people to help him with his new fake job.
