What if We Overused Hashtags in Real Life Like We Do on Social Media?

One of the most popular questions people ask me is what those little pound signs they see on television mean. Even after I explain that they are called hashtags and what their purpose is, I still get some confused looks.

And I don’t even bother explaining the sarcastic, overused hashtags people use on Twitter (and now Facebook). Maybe it’s because every once in a while I’m guilty of such overuse myself. #sorry #sometimes #I #can’t #help #myself
