Patriotic music at your fingertips

I love listening to patriotic music on the 4th of July. Usually I start with Lee Greenwood’s God Bless the USA. and go from there.

10 years ago, it wasn’t easy to find a good selection of patriotic music. But now, it’s almost too easy.

Here’s what I did this morning. I launched my Spotify application and typed 4th of July music in the search box. Under the Albums column of the search results I immediately found what I was looking for. An album titled 4th of July: Music For Independence Day, Volume 1.

A simple click here and there and the entire album was playing on my computer. And yes, it even included Lee Greenwood’s God Bless the USA.

If I had wanted, I could have clicked the second search result, 50 Patriotic Songs Music for the 4th of July. This album contains a much more traditional selection of songs played by various military bands like the United States Navy Band.

Or of course, I could have mixed and matched between both of them and created my own patriotic playlist.

So there you have it, patriotic music at your fingertips. Now off to watch some fireworks videos on YouTube! Happy 4th of July!
