SecuPower Intelligent 5-Port Desktop USB Charger Review

If you have multiple devices (smartphones, tablets, Bluetooth portable speakers, etc.) that you like to charge in the same location, the SecuPower Intelligent 5-Port Desktop Charger is a great buy at just around $30 on Amazon (as of this writing).

Here’s why I love this desktop USB charger. For starters it has 5 ports which obviously means you can charge up to 5 devices at a time. But the beauty of the SecuPower Intelligent 5-Port Desktop USB Charger is that each of the 5 ports can charge any type of device. This is due to the intelligent switching built into the USB charger.

So if you have an iPad, plug it into any port and that port will intelligently provide the 2.4 amps your iPad needs to charge efficiently. Plug a smartphone into another port and it will detect that it only needs 1.1 amps. In total, the SecuPower Intelligent 5-Port Desktop USB Charger can provide 50 watts or 10 amps of power to any combination of devices connected to its 5 ports.
