SelfieGo MP-B2 selfie stick wins me over with detachable remote shutter button

SelfieGo MP-B2

You’d think there wouldn’t be a whole lot more you can say about a selfie stick. After all, there are dozens of brands and styles to choose from. But believe it or not, the SelfieGo MP-B2 selfie stick has two unique features that set it apart from others.

The first is the Bluetooth remote control. It’s not physically attached to the selfie stick. Instead, it’s attached via a small elastic band. This provides a couple of benefits. One is that you can slide the remote shutter up or down the selfie stick handle to position it exactly where it best fits your thumb. Another is that you can remove the remote shutter entirely and use it standalone without the selfie stick.

The second feature that sets the SelfieGo MP-B2 selfie stick apart is that it doesn’t require any recharging. Instead of using a rechargeable battery, it uses a small silver battery. They even throw in a spare for when the first one runs out (something I wish they had told me before I popped open the battery compartment only to discover there was already a battery inside).

SelfieGo MP-B2 recommendation

Apart from that, the SelfieGo MP-B2 selfie stick extends up to 32 inches in length and has the 270-degree adjustable clamp that I’ve seen before and really like. It also compacts down small enough to throw in a purse or travel bag. The SelfieGo MP-B2 is compatible with the iPhone 6, iPhone 6 Plus, iPhone 5 5s 5c, iPhone 4s and most Android Phones. At a price of only $13.99 as of this writing, I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for an inexpensive, easy-to-use selfie stick.
