Trade in your old video games for new ones

Kids love video games. When they are given as gifts, they usually end up in the video game console only seconds after being unwrapped.

But no matter what the game or how fun it is, it eventually gets old and lost on the shelf or in the game cabinet.

And then the begging begins for the new game. Parents, you’re with me on this aren’t you?

Well this year, Amazon is giving parents a little financial comfort by allowing parents to trade-in those old, shelved video games for Amazon gift cards that can be use to buy new games (or anything for that matter). Video Game Trade-in

The process is simple. Start by searching for the video game you want to trade in. Amazon will display a trade-in value for the game if it is still worth anything. If you accept the trade-in value, you print a shipping label and packing slip and ship the game to Amazon for free. When Amazon receives the game, they deposit the Amazon gift card right into your account.

So go dust off your old video games and trade them in for some holiday cash. Just make sure you ask your kids first!
