BluetoothBluetooth, in its simplest form, is a wireless technology standard that allows two devices to communicate with each other.

For example, a smartphone with Bluetooth capability can be “paired” with one of those little Star Trek-like devices people put around their ear such that a caller’s voice is wirelessly re-routed from the phone to the earpiece.

A Bluetooth wireless speaker allows any Bluetooth-enabled device that can play music, such as an iPhone, to transmit its music from the iPhone to the speaker thus eliminating the need to physically connect the speaker to the iPhone.
