Xfinity Shows You How to Host a Super Bowl Party Like a Champ

How to Host the Super Bowl Like a Champ

Xfinity sent me this fun little graphic (see full graphic below) showing how you can host a Super Bowl party like a champ this year. Of course, all of the ideas use some form of Xfinity product or service (duh) but, at the same time, it does highlight some pretty cool things you can do with their products and services.

Here are a couple of my favorites:

  • Smart Home / Cameras: One of these days I’m going to pull the trigger on this. I love the idea of having cameras stationed around my house that I can view at any time with my smartphone or tablet. I also love that you can get alerts based on time or certain triggered events. Yes, you can see when the pizza guy arrives for your Super Bowl party but there are a hundred other uses that make this technology cool as well.
  • Xfinity TV app: If you’ve ever been to a Super Bowl party, every television in the house is usually tuned in to the Super Bowl. But, whether you like it or not, sometimes your kids just aren’t as into the Super Bowl as you are. Heck, I’m having a hard time getting into the Super Bowl this year! The Xfinity TV app lets you stream DVR and in-home programming to your tablet so the kids can head off to their playroom to watch their own shows.
  • #SignMyTweet: Okay, the Giants aren’t in the Super Bowl but this is still pretty cool. Right now, you can send a tweet to @XFINITYSports using the hashtag #SignMyTweet. Then on Saturday, January 31, from 1-3 pm EST, Giants wide receiver, Odell Beckham, Jr. will sign a selection of the tweets (I’m guessing he can’t get to all of them) and mail them to his fans as a souvenir. I don’t see how you could wrong with this addition to your man cave!

The only thing I couldn’t find on their graphic was an invitation to the Super Bowl itself. Maybe next year, when the Packers are in it.
