Yes, you can use a case with the Galaxy S6 Edge

Urban Armor Gear case for Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge

One of the questions I had when I first heard about the Galaxy S6 Edge smartphone was whether or not a case would interfere with the edge display of the phone. After all, a standard case would most likely cover up the edge display which would pretty much defeat the whole idea of having the edge display in the first place.

Fortunately for me, a representative from Urban Armor Gear (UAG) contacted me to ask if I would be interested in trying out one of their new cases designed specifically for the Galaxy S6 Edge. His timing was perfect because I was currently reviewing a demo Galaxy S6 Edge from Verizon Wireless.

A perfect fit for the Galaxy S6 Edge

A few days later I had the case in hand. The first thing I noticed was how light the case was. But don’t let that fool you. According to UAG, its Galaxy S6 Edge case meets military drop-test standards

Installing the case was a breeze. It literally took like 5 seconds to snap the Galaxy S6 Edge into the case. The UAG case surrounds the entire screen while still maintaining a low profile on the left and right edges so you don’t cover up any of the edge display.

The UAG case also gives you a better grip on the Galaxy S6 Edge, which can be a little slippery without a case. And of course, it still provides easy access to all of the buttons and ports on the phone.

An easy choice

I’m not sure how many other cases there are on the market right now made specifically for the Galaxy S6 Edge but I can tell you this. The Urban Armor Gear case is an easy choice.
