How to get a $28 Kindle book on Amazon for free… but hurry!

I’ve had my new Kindle for over a week now. I am absolutely in love with it. In fact, I think I love it more than I thought I would given that I mainly purchased it so the kids could store all of their books on it for long road trips.

And while I plan a full review of the Kindle in a few more weeks after I have battle-tested it, this particular blog post will concentrate on the last book I downloaded to my Kindle.

The name of the book is Empowered: Unleash Your Employees, Energize Your Customers, and Transform Your Business.

Admittedly, I know nothing about this book. Nada. Zippo. Nothing. So why did I get it? Because Seth Godin mentioned it on his blog and said it was free until the end of this week.

I actually found that out while catching up on Facebook on my iPhone at my son’s soccer practice. A few clicks later, I had purchased (Amazon still calls it a purchase even if it is free) the book and saved myself $27.95.

And when I got home, the book was waiting for me on my Kindle.

Free books. Sweet technology. I love it!

P.S. Turns out there is an entire collection of free Kindle books on Amazon. In fact, Amazon even keeps a list of the Top 100 Free Kindle books.
