Simple inexpensive stand for your smartphone or tablet

I’ve only mentioned using the stand for your smartphone so far but the stand is large enough to support tablets up to around 10 inches as well. That means you can comfortably set your iPad in the portable stand as well. The only problem I ran into with placing my iPad on the portable stand was the iPad’s case. It added just enough bulk so that I couldn’t fit my iPad in the stand. When I took off the case, it fit fine, both in landscape and portrait orientations. I had no problems with my smartphone’s case.
