Now is the best time to trade in your old iPad
People often ask me what to do with their old electronics when they replace them with newer ones. I tell them to trade them in to an online service like Gazelle. Often people are not aware how much their old electronics are still worth.
Case in point, my 2nd generation iPad that I bought well over 3 years ago, is currently worth about $90 – $100 on Gazelle depending on what condition it is in. So if I were wanting to upgrade to the newest model of the iPad, why not sell my existing iPad and apply the $100 towards the purchase of the new one?
Better yet, Gazelle is running a promotion right now where they will add a $20 bonus to any iPad valued at $75 or more. So that 2nd generation iPad of mine is now worth $110 – $120.
