Technology makes it easy to catch Santa

My 7-year-old son is keeping me on my toes with Santa Claus this year. He recently told me that he is going to set out his digital camera on Christmas Eve so he can get a picture of Santa coming down the chimney.

When I told him that he would have to be there to actually take the picture, he one-upped me without missing a beat. “Well then I’ll just set the digital camera on video mode and video him.”

Still trying to maintain the upper-hand, I explained this time that, although he had a high capacity memory card in his digital camera, it wouldn’t be enough to record video the entire night.

Never one to give up easily, my son once again had a comeback. “Ok, I’ll just stay up until 10 minutes before Santa comes down the chimney, press record and then run up to bed.”

I’m in trouble with this one folks. Real trouble.
