The one thing I couldn’t do on my iPad that now I can

When I bought my iPad 2 last February, I never intended it to replace my laptop. But nearly 6 months later the total number of times I have used my laptop is a whopping zero!

It’s just too darn easy to watch a movie on an airplane, update my Facebook status on the couch or process a few emails in the bathroom (hey, don’t judge), all with my iPad.

But there still is one thing that I can’t do well with my iPad—write a blog post. It’s not that I can’t use the on-screen keyboard. It’s more that my thumbs can’t keep up with my brain so I lose my train of thought too easily.

This became a big enough problem for me that I jumped on a recent Amazon Gold Box deal for a wireless Bluetooth keyboard for my iPad.

Targus Bluetooth Wireless Keyboard for Apple iPad

I don’t know what the price will be by the time you read this blog post but I got this keyboard for $39.99 ($20 off list price). And I absolutely love it.

It took me less than one minute to pair the Bluetooth keyboard to my iPad and be typing away on the keyboard. The keyboard even has iPad specific keys to mimic the Home button on the iPad, activate a search, adjust the volume and more.

The keyboard weighs less than a pound and will easily fit in my gadget travel bag right next to my iPad. Blogging-on-my-iPad problem solved.
