Being a technology expert isn’t always what it’s cracked up to be.

Take this morning for instance when I was checking email about 20 minutes before I had to leave the house. It was just then that a little magical window appeared on my screen telling me that there was an iPhone software update available for my iPhone.

Reasons I Should Have Ignored the iPhone Software Update Message

Here’s a list of reasons why a message like this should be ignored in this situation:

  • I was checking email not checking for an iPhone software update
  • The update for a major software release like the 3.0 software will most definitely take longer than the 20 minutes I had to install
  • I already ordered the new iPhone 3G S which will have the 3.0 software pre-installed and will arrive on my doorstep tomorrow.

Reasons I Should Not Have Ignored the iPhone Software Update Message

Now let’s look at the list of reasons why I should not ignore the software update message:

  • The new 3.0 software update is just so cool and I can’t wait to try out all of its new features
