CDs are still a great way to listen to music in your car but they are often prone to nicks and scratches (especially when handled by your kids). Instead of using the original CD, import or “rip” your music into a music library such as iTunes. Then “burn” a copy of the same music back to an inexpensive blank CD. If the copy gets scratched, you can throw it away and make a new one.
